First time ever that I had to ask Steam for a refund (I own nearly 2000 games, so yes, that's a big deal to me) since I have serious doubts that these compatibility problems will ever be seriously addressed by Daedalic. So far no patch has been released and the only solutions which might address the problems are given by other users and not by Daedalic. All they do is to repeat the old mantra 'install the latest drivers' which clearly isn't working. I really don't understand why Zanzarah wasn't tested under Windows 10 and on computers with high end graphic cards. To me this seems like a huge oversight and the game shouldn't have been released until it was running on modern systems as well.

I'd still like to buy and play this game once more, but only if an official patch is released by Daedalic that addresses the drop in fps.

Set the 'Maximum count of pre-rendered single frames' to 1.
